Copy protection

CDA can protect your intellectual property. To do this, we offer various copy protection processes for optical data media.

Just a few months ago, CDA Datenträger Albrechts GmbH added copy protection from ProtectDISC to its range. This new type of copy protection system is called ProtectDVD-Video. Thanks to the intelligent combination of special media structures and modified navigation schemes on the DVD, 1:1 copies and complete rips of the DVD are rendered impossible. With ProtectCD and ProtectDVD the medium is protected by an invisible, individual "fingerprint" attached. The medium can therefore be uniquely identified and distinguished from duplicates or copies.

Alternatively, we also offer the tried and tested RipGuard copy protection from Macrovision. RipGuard makes it impossible to read off the data digitally. Copy-protected DVDs can be played on standard players without problems according to Macrovision.
