CDA offers the perfect solution - CDs and DVDs with a scratch-proof coating. In addition, the read-out side of the data medium is protected with a special lacquer (Hard Coating). This coating largely prevents the scratches caused by improper handling. Finger prints can be easily be wiped off and the play reliability is considerably increased.

The read-out side of a CD or DVD is made of pure polycarbonate. This transparent optical plastic material is very sensitive to scratch. Even when the data medium is used properly, there will always be some almost invisible scratches on the material caused by storage or wiping that can lead to problems in playing and reading the stored data.

The coated data medium conforms, in all respect, to CD and DVD specifications.
