History

Since it was founded in 1996, CDA Datenträger Albrechts GmbH has been demonstrating its strengths as an innovative, high performance company. CDA got involved in the DVD business as early as 1997. At that time, the company was one of the pioneers in Germany, in particular among the independents. This was at a time when the DVD was still an unknown medium.

Developments such as "scratch-proofing", which provide effective protection of the data side of the disk, also show that CDA offers more when it comes to service. This protection is especially appreciated by people who use their disks all the time.

The latest development is the RFID disc. A patent application was submitted for this product in summer 2006. The RFID disc combines the advantages of optical storage media and the RFID chip in a single product.

Under the motto of ImPressing Solutions, CDA Datenträger Albrechts GmbH is now one of Europe's largest independent manufacturers of optical storage media.
